ABOUT ME

Throughout my career,  I have worked alongside subject matter experts in K-12, higher education, and professional development to design, develop, and deliver meaningful, engaging learning experiences for users from preschool to adult education. I understand the unique challenges of identifying the right instructional and training strategies and solutions to meet your objectives and achieve desired outcomes. I consider the learner first, last, and always.

Esther Tattershall
Instructional Designer

I am currently working as an instructional designer at Eastern Kentucky University. I have also worked as an ID at the University of Kentucky and Asbury Theological Seminary.

I have worked with content advisors, subject matter experts, and instructors to design and develop instructional materials and teacher training at Kentucky Educational Television, the University of Kentucky, and most recently, Eastern Kentucky University.

 

My work as earned 3 Regional Emmy Awards, 2 NETA Awards, a Governor's Communicator Award of Excellence, My Source Innovation Award, and a Blackboard Catalyst Award for Teaching and Learning.

 I have over 20 years of instructional media development experience and 6 years of experience working as an instructional designer in higher education. I have a Master's in Communication and a certification in Instructional Design & eLearning. I am a certified Quality Matters® Peer Course Reviewer.
